Creating and maintaining websites (with ease) using Markdown and GitHub pages In-Person
Let's be honest -- most websites can be a hassle to design and maintain. Alternatively, static webpages offer a more efficient and scalable website management approach. With this approach, users focus on editing content using the simple notation (Markdown) and allow pre-defined templates to do the rest. In this workshop, participants will learn how to develop and maintain static webpages using GitHub Pages (https://pages.github.com/). By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to edit Markdown files in their GitHub repository to automatically update their personal webpage on GitHub Pages.
